T. D. THURMOND DEAD Forsyth P. T. A. Official to be Buried Wednesday morning FORSYTH, Ga., Oct. 30--Mrs. Thomas D. Thurmond, aged 35, vice president of the Forsyth Parent-Teacher Association, and president of teh Woman's Bible Class of the First Baptist Church, died unexpectedly this afternoon, after several days of indosposition [sic]. She was Miss Laura Findlater, of Columbus, before her marriage to Dr. T. D. Thurmond thirteen years ago. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Laura Beecher and Elizabeth Thurmond; four sisters, Mrs. Arthur Ray, of Columbus; Mrs. Joel Gannon, of Birmingham; Misses Elizabeth and Jennie Findlater, of Phoenix City, and one brother, Henry Findlater, of Phoenix City. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from the residence. The body will be taken to Columbus, via Macon, leaving here at 10:20 tomorrow morning. Interment will be held in Columbus Wednesday morning.
