DEATH AT STROUDS
     Mrs. Ella Wilson, the First of Twenty Children to Die.
     FORSYTH, Ga., May 31 -- Mrs. Ella Wilson, wife of Dr. Sam Wilson, of 
Strouds, Ga., died at the home of her husband Sunday evening last at 2:30 
o'clock.  Mrs. Wilson was the sister of Dr. W. J. Thurmond of this place and a 
daughter of Mr. W. H. Thurmond, who lives near the city.  She is the first out 
of twenty whole and half brothers and sisters to die.

Additional Comments:
Ella Jane Thurmond was born 16 June 1868 in Monroe Co., GA, the daughter of 
William Harrison Thurmond, Jr. and Amanda Jane (Buff) Thurmond.  She married 
Dr. Samuel H. Wilson, Sr. on 18 January 1894 in Monroe Co., GA.
