L. Wingfield, Oldest Resident of Culloden, Dies. Culloden, Ga., January 10- Mrs. J. L. Wingfield, 83, oldest resident of Culloden, died early Sunday morning after a brief illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. S. Fuller. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the home, conducted by the Rev. George Chamblee, of Macon, pastor of the Missionary Baptist church here, as the pastor of the Methodist church to which Mrs. Wingfield belonged, Rev. E. T. Watkins, was ill. Interment was in the city cemetery. Mrs. Wingfield was the widow of J. L. Wingfield, who died 30 years ago. She was, before her marriage, Miss Joanna Woodward, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Woodward, of Culloden, who were among the oldest and most influential citizens of Monroe county.
