Salem Methodist Church
1826-2002
One hundred and seventy-six years of Tradition Founded on May 15, 1826

Salem Methodist Church is in southeast Monroe County on Pea
Ridge Road.  No regular services are held there now but a
homecoming is held on the 4th Sunday in July each year.  There
is a large cemetery there with many old graves  - Anderson
Redding, Myles Greene, Thaddeus Cicero Pritchett, Laura Turk
Pritchett, Waltons, Bealls, many family names.  The cemetery is
listed in the Monroe County History printed in 1979

Location is on Pea Ridge Road, north of Bolingbroke off I -75 and U.S Hwy. 41.
