In memory of I. M. H. Carlton, MD, SD, died Feb 6, 1851, age
26 yrs., 3 mos. 20 days. A member of Pleasant Ridge Lodge
103 F and AM Macon County, Ga. (drowned in Towaliga). NOTE:
told that he was going to see someone and the river was up
and he tried to cross on his horse and drowned

In 1850 Census - Macon County listed with Dr. Bedford J. Head 32
Carlton, I.M.H. is age 23
