This is a Photo of Bull - Carleton cemetery located in Monroe County GA. The 
Monument in this picture is one of the most Magnificent headstones I have ever 
seen. The cemetery is in despair and need some attention very badly.

The monument is about eight feet tall and leaning.

103 F and AM Macon County, Ga.
Oct 17, 1824 (calculated on age at death)
Died February 1851 
age 26 yrs., 3 mos. 20 days.

In memory of I. M. H. Carlton, MD, SD, died Feb 6, 1851, age
26 yrs., 3 mos. 20 days. A member of Pleasant Ridge Lodge
103 F and AM Macon County, Ga. (drowned in Towaliga). NOTE:
told that he was going to see someone and the river was up
and he tried to cross on his horse and drowned

In 1850 Census - Macon County listed with Dr. Bedford J. Head 32
Carleton, I.M.H. is age 23
