Thurmond-Irwin
     The cordial interest of a wide circle of friends is centering about the 
announcement of Dr. Thomas Daniel Thurmond of the marriage of his daughter, 
Laura Beecher Thurmond, to Mr. James DeWitt Irwin, of Macon, the ceremony 
having been performed on January 27 in Aiken, S.C.  Dr. Thurmond and is [sic] 
a young woman of unusual beauty and charm.  She is a graduate of the Forsyth 
High school, and has been taking a business course in Macon.  Mr. and Mrs. 
Irwin are at home to their friends at 356 New street, Macon.
