 In the name of God Amen.I Samuel Maddox of Hancock County and State of Georgia 
being in Sound Mind but weak in body do make ordain and publish this my last 
will and testament in the manner form as for that is to say,I give unto my 
beloved son William Maddox all of my track of land in Hancock County,unto him 
his heirs and asigns for ever.
 I give unto my beloved son Samuel Maddox my track of land which I have lately 
drawer in the late Land Lottery Number 74 in the District of Early County unto 
him his heirs and asigns forever.
 I further give unto my son William Maddox my two bed,and furniture unto him 
his heirs and asigns forever,and it is will and desire that the balance of my 
estate should be equally divided between my three Children,Wit:William 
Maddox,Samuel Maddox & Sally Bagby.
 And lastly I do appoint my son William Maddox Executor to this my last will 
and testament January 16th 1821

all the subscribing witnesses and and order to be filed in office until the

  The last Will and Testament of Samuel Maddox Sr having been duly proven 
before the Honorable the Inferior Court sitting for ordinary purpose on the 8th 
day of May last.Ordered that said will be Admitted to record.
