Will of Susan Gardner Potts
The following is a partial will by a resident of Monroe Co. that I would like for you to post on the website if it is suitable:
  
Georgia
Pike County/ In the Name of God Amen
I Susan C. Potts being of sound mind and discretion and knowing 
the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death deem it 
right and proper that I should by will, dispose of my property 
which an all wise God has blessed me with.  I hereby make this 
my last will and testament.

Item 1-I will my soul to God who gave it and desire that after 
my death my body be buried in a decent and Christian like 
manner at Shiloh Church in Monroe County Georgia near the grave 
of my son and that my grave be marked with a nice and suitable 
tomb-stone

Item 2-I will and bequest to my brother James F. Gardner all of 
my real estate and personal property during his life the he 
have the use, benefits and profits during his .............

 Received Two Hundred Fifty Dollars, this the same amount given 
me by Mrs. Susan C. Potts in her will, by her executor, Sam T. 
Gardner.
