County			This indenture made this the twenty fifth day of 
January in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty between Benjamin 
Burch and John Gillis of the one part and Josiah Hamilton of the other part 
that is to say that Benjamin Burch and John Gillis for and in consideration of 
the sum of one hundred dollars to them in hand paid at or before the sealing 
and delivery of these presents the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged doth 
bargain sell and convey unto Josiah Hamilton one certain tract or parcel of 
land containing one hundred and fifty acres of pine land to be the same more or 
less on the waters of Swift Creek agreeable to the will of Misses Hamilton 
Decd. late of Montgomery County that we Benjamin Burch and John Gillis for 
ourselves our heirs executors and administrators warrant and defend the right 
and title thereof to the same in any wise belonging thereunto unto Josiah 
Hamilton his heirs executors administrators all the appurtenances thereof 
belonging thereunto in fee simple whereby we the said Benjamin Burch and John 
Gillis doth hereby sign seal and deliver on the day and year above mentioned
