                 Georgia G. Brantley
 MOUNT VERNON--- Georgia Gillis Brantley, 70, died Friday at St. Joseph's 
Hospital.
 She was born in Treutlen County, but had lived in Mount Vernon most of her 
life. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Vidalia Church of God.
 SURVIVORS: three sons, J. D. Brantley and Randy Brantley, both of Mount 
Vernon and Randy Brantley of Forsyth; a daughter, Nell Blackburn of Mount 
Vernon; two brothers, M. B. Gillis of Macon and M. D. Gillis of Tarpon 
Springs, Fla.; four sisters, Geneva McDaniel of Soperton, Lula Thigpen of 
Mount Vernon, Eloise Kragg of Tampa, Fla., and Sharon Hutcheson of Oak Park; 
13 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
 VISITATION: tonight at Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service of Glenwood.
 FUNERAL: 11am Monday at the funeral home, burial in Braddy Cemetery of 
Montgomery County
 

Additional Comments:
Georgia was born 9 Mar 1926 to Ivey Gillis and Bertha Mae Foskey Gillis. Her 
husband, Dennis Brantley, is also buried in Braddy Cemetery. Georgia death 
certificate #036321.
