From the Wiregrass Watchman. As we go to press, we glean the sad news of the burning to death of an infant son of Mr. T. W. Browning, of Montgomery county, on Tuesday of last week, aged two years, the particulars of which, in brief, are that during the absence of the mother the child left his father who was splitting rails a short distance from the house, and proceeding to the house alone and unobserved caught fire while attempting to remove potatoes from the burning coals. The little unfortunate ran towards his father, but before assistance could be rendered he was so severely burned that death ensued in a few hours afterwards. We offer our sincere condolence to the bereaved parents.
