                           Mrs. J. W. Bryant
 Mrs. Georgie Foskey Bryant, 69, of 2610 Crescent Lane, died at her home 
Saturday about noon.
 She was born in Lawrence County, Georgia, Jan. 4, 1897. Her parents were the 
late Mr. and Mrs. Manning Foskey.
 She is survived by her husband, Jessie Walter Bryant Sr.; one daughter, Mrs. 
Cecil Dobbs of Monroe, Mich.; four sons, Russell and Edward, both of Burbank, 
Calif. and Tommy and Walter Jr., both of Gastonia; two brothers, Harrison 
Foskey of Glenwood, Ga. and Lewis Foskey of Alamo, Ga.; 12 grandchildren and 2 
great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be conducted at 4PM Sunday at Second Baptist Church, 
Gastonia, with the Rev. Claude Hill, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in 
Hollywood Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the services. 
The body will be taken to the home at 11AM Sunday. Carothers Funeral home has 
charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Georgie's parents were Joseph Manning Foskey and Ann Elizabeth "Liza" Bryant 
Foskey.
