Vernon MOUNT VERNON, Ga., July 10----Mrs. Joanna Tyson Coleman died at her home after a long illness. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Coleman was an active member of the Primitive Baptist Church with which she had been affiliated for forty-three years. She was born in Emanuel County but was well known here where she had lived for fifty-seven years. Her husband was the late George W. Coleman. Her survivors are her son, G. L. Coleman of Folkston; two daughters, Mrs. H. B. Braddy of Bartow, Fla. and Mrs. C. H. Goff of Uvalda, Ga.; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral took place at Tarrytown Baptist Church on July 9. Burial was at Tarrytown Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ernest Goff, Henry Smith, Mark Burns, Ed Braddy, Jake Phillips, and Herbert Brown. Rev. P. H. Byrd of Summit was in charge of the service. Sammons Funeral Home handled funeral arrangements. Additional Comments: Joanna was born in 1869 to Rev.
