                                  Mr. Mack Lawrence
 Mr. Mack Lawrence, age 62 of 555 Peterson Road, Ailey, Ga., died late Tuesday 
night, December 12, 1995 at the Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia 
after a sudden illness.
 Mack was a native and lifelong resdient of Montgomery County. He was a retired 
construction worker and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Uvalda.
 Survivors include his wife, Altha Lawrence, Ailey; one sons, Steve Lawrence, 
Ailey; two daughters, Diann Powell, Mt. Vernon and Janice Lawrence, Inman, SC; 
four sisters, Leona Tapley and Louise 'Conner, Mt. Vernon, Ethel O'Conner, 
Ailey, and Vitus Baker, Douglas; and four grandchildren, Christy and Stacey 
Powell and Jamie and Daniel Lawrence, Ailey.
 Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence were conducted Thursday afternoon, December 
14, 1995 at 2 o'clock in the Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Chapel of 
Vidalia with the Rev. Mike Hutcheson officiating. Interment followed on the 
family property.
 Pallbearers were Hilton Tapley, Kenneth Johnson, Dennis Thornton, Clarence 
Sanders, Elmo Powell, and Terry Galbreath. Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service of 
Vidalia was in charge of arrangements.

Mack was born 31 Aug 1933 to Eudell "Udell" Foskey Lawrence.
