                            Mrs. Ruby A. Mincey
 Mrs. Ruby A. Mincey, age 71, of Route 1 Uvalda, died Monday night at her 
residence of Montgomery County. Mrs. Mincey was a member of the Charlotte 
United Methodist Church.
 She is survived by two sons, Gene Adams of Tampa, Fla. and James Adams of 
Uvalda; two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Denton and Mrs. Doris Galbreath, both of 
Ailey; a brother, Elton Tapley of Tampa; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Mincey were held Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 from 
the Charlotte United Methodist Church with the pastor Rev. Elvin East and the 
Rev. Alton Wommack officiating. Interment was in the Dead River Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Grant Cason, Paul Foskey, Bobby Manning, Duane 
Galbreath, Terry Galbreath, and Jack Day. Honorary pallbearers were Gene 
Davis, Chester Poole, Maiteland Davis, Darvin Mincey, Green Thigpen, and Cecil 
Conner.
 Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of the funeral 
arrangements for Mrs. Ruby A. Mincey.

Additional Comments:
Ruby was born 8-30-1912 to William Ander "Billy" Tapley and Mary Jane Foskey 
Tapley. Georgia death certificate #031352. Her first husband was Foy Adams. 
Her second husband was Frank Pherman Mincey Sr.
