Palmer Is Buried Here Funeral services for James Addison Palmer, 72, of Vidalia, were held Sunday at 4pm from the chapel of Frank Murchison Funeral Home, Vidalia, Mr. Palmer died Friday in a Vidalia hospital. The Rev. Jody Robertson officiated with interment in Swainsboro City Cemetery. A native of Montgomery County, Mr. Palmer had lived in Vidalia for the past 15 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maude T. Palmer; a son, Randall Palmer of Swainsboro; three sisters, Mrs. W. A. Davant of Lake City, Fl., Mrs. Henry Joyce and Mrs. George Morris, both of Mt. Vernon; four brothers, R. L., C. S., and C. R. Palmer, all of Mt. Vernon, and J. P. Palmer of Columbia, SC; and two grandsons. Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge. Additional Comments: James was born 12 Oct 1893 to John Quincy Palmer and Elizabeth O'Conner Palmer. Georgia death certificate #010443.
