Ryals Lumber City, Georgia 25 October 1897 The Atlanta Constitution Pg. 3 Dr. James C. Ryals, Lumber City, Ga. (Special)- Dr. J. C. Ryals, a prominent physician of Lumber City died today at the home of his son-in-law, Dr. L. Clements, of Spring Hill. Dr. Ryals graduated in medicine in Savannah away back in the fifties, and practiced his profession with high credit to himself in the counties of Montgomery, Telfair and Tattnall for about forty years. He married a Miss Ann Mann, of Tattnall County, who died in Lumber City about two years ago. Dr. Ryals leaves four sons, John B. Ryals, a druggist of Cordele; Dr. William Ryals, a practicing physician of Cowart, Alabama; James W. Ryals, the Lumber City druggist; and a younger son, Howell Ryals, who is studying medicine; also two daughters, Mrs. Dr. L. Clements, and Mrs. Dr. Allen C. Clements. The burial will take place at Spring Hill tomorrow. Additional Comments: Mrs. Dr. L. Clements is his daughter Ella V. RYALS Clements ; Mrs. Dr. Allen C.
