(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net January 28, 2009, 2:48 pm The Macon Telegraph 3-27-1967 Page 5A Funeral Tuesday For Mrs. Willis Funeral services for Mrs. Kathryn Fulford Willis of Rte. 2, Gary, who died yesterday at her home, will be held at 2PM Tuesday, at the Alston Baptist Church. The Rev. Hubert Hollis and the Rev. Milton Smith will officiate and burial will be in the Walker Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Curtis Powell, Curtis Willis, Howard Willis, James Willis, Billy Fulford, and Emmett Fulford. Mrs. Willis was a native of Treutlen County, the daughter of Henry Samuel (Hicks) Fulford and Mrs. Frankie Foskey Fulford, and had been a resident of Jones County for the past four years, going there from Moreland, Fla. She was a member of the Third Street Baptist Church of Macon. Survivors include her husband, A. J. Willis; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Burgamy of Gray, Mrs. Jo Anne Morgan of Clemente, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Clark of Lyons; one son, Larry Willis of Gray; eight brothers, J. T. Fulford of Vidalia, Lamar Fulford of Gray, Robert Fulford of Uvalda, Henry Fulford of Alston, DeWitt Fulford of Macon, Bill Fulford and Thurston Fulford, both of Lyons and Willie Frank Smith of Gray; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtice Beasley of Gray, Mrs. Mildred Powell of Vidalia, and Mrs. Carolyn O'Neal of Lyons; mother, Mrs. Frankie Fulford of Alston; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
