Samuel Hargroves Calhoun 
 
1824-1899 
Son of James Irving Calhoun and Mary "Polly" McLewrath; 
married 1847 Lucinda Hamilton, daughter of Josiah Hamilton and Mary "Polly" 
Poole 
- 12 children. 
Sam fought for the Confederacy in the War Between the States. 
Buried in Tarrytown. 
Pictured are his wife, Lucinda, and their unmarried daughter, Martha Ann.
