I William Harrelson of said state and County being of advanced age and knowing that I must shortly depart this life deem it right and proper both as respects my family and my self that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me do therefore make this my last will and testament here by revoking all others heretofore made by me. 1Item. I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner suitable to my circumstance and condition in life. 2nd Item I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid with out delay my my executors here inafter appointed as I am unwilling my creditors should be delayed in thier rights especially as there is no necessity for delay 3rd Item I give bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Elizabeth three lots of land situated in the tenth district of originally Wilkinson County at the time of survey and known and distinguished in the plan of said district by these numbers to wit two hundred seventy two 272 and two hundred and seventy three 273 and two hundred and sixty six and now Montgomery County containing sixhundred seven acres and a half about seventy five acres of which are cleared and in cultivation with all the rights members and appertunances to said lots of land in any wise belonging free from all charge or limitation what ever to her own proper use benefit and behalf during her life or widowhood then to return back as before to be divided equally between my children all the rest or remaining portion of my property I leave with my beloved wife Elizabeth during her life or widowhood then to be divided between my children equally. 4th Item I do direct and desire my beloved wife Elizabeth and my son Bradley Harrelson trusty friends to be my executors to this my last will and testament this June the nineteenth 1855. his William Harrelson mark Signed sealed declared and published by William Harrelson as his last will and testament in the presence of us the subscribers who subscribed our names here to in the presence of said testator at his special instance and request and of each other this June the nineteenth 1855 his Reuben Harrelson mark his James Cadwell mark John G Clark Calphery Clark Additional Comments: William Harrelson, 1801-1855. There is also an inventory and appraisment of the estate and returns for 1861-1864 filed by the executors. Elizabeth lived till 1891, her son Bradley died in 1855.
