Lumpkin Cemetery Inscriptions Morgan Co, GA LUMPKIN CEMETERY Just south of the road between Madison and Rutledge Near the home that Mr. Oxford built about 1920 Sacred to the memory of Mrs. Elizabeth Lumpkin and three infant children, being the wife and sons of Wilson Lumpkin. Mrs. Lumpkin died November 30, 1829 in the thirty third year of her age, beloved and lamented by her family and friends she lived the life and died the death of the righteous. (These graves are surrounded and covered by a wall made of flat rocks. The wall is about twelve by sixteen feet and on the western side the above is carved on a marble slab which is built into this wall.
