Whereas; at the November Term of the Superior Court of Morgan County, 1869, an 
ordered was passed referring all matters in controversy in the Equity Clause 
there pending of Wiley A. Jones and Richard S. Jones, Executors of the last 
Will & testament of Stephen A. Jones (dec.) vs. William Murray, Clarinda B. 
Jones et al to the award of Albert G. Foster, Henry D. McDaniel and Isham S. 
Fannin, ordered the sale at public outcry on 1st Tues. February 1871 of all 
that tract situate on the south side of Jacks Creek adj. Wiley A. Jones and 
others, 25 acres with the right of way of 30 feet from said mill seat along the 
old road leading to the Athens road. Through the remainder of what is known as 
the Bostick Mills land when the same was knocked off to Frederick C. Foster for 
the sum of $301 dollars, it being the highest & best bidder.

This Indenture entered into between Wiley A. Jones unto Frederick C. Foster, 
both of Morgan County.  For and in consideration of the sum of $301 dollars 
assigns all that parcel of land being on Jacks Creek containing 25 acres being 
the place known as the Bostick Mills seat together with the right of way of 30 
feet from said mill seat along the old road in the direction of the Athens Road 
through the remainder of the land known as the south ½ of the Bostick Place.  
More fully described by survey made by G.B. Barrow Feb. 4, 1871, in the 5th 
District, Morgan County
