This indenture made this twenty ninth day of December in the year of 
our Lord one thousand eight hundred & seventeen between Benajah King of 
the County and State & state aforesaid of the one part and Warren 
Jaurdan? Of the same County and State of the other part.  Witnefseth 
that the said Benajah King for and in consideration of the sum of fifty 
dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of 
there presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge has this day 
bargained, sold and delivered and by these presents doth grant bargain 
sell and deliver unto him the said Jaurdan all that tract, parcel or 
lot of land containing by estimation two acres lie the same more of 
lefs, it being a part of Lot N 299 in the fourth district of originally 
Baldwin and now Morgan County, butting and bounded by the road leading 
from Parkers Ferry on the cone? River to Madison and the said, leading 
from the Apalatchy Bridge to Eatonton in the County of Putnam adjoining 
Lands of James Clark and the land of Jourdan to have and to hold the said 
parcel of lot of land unto him the said Warren Jaurdan and all 
appertainces as there unto belonging ____ anywhere appertaining unto him, his 
afsigns forever warrants and defend the said right title and claim of the said 
land unto him the said Warren Jaurdan & grants the claim or claims of all and 
any person or persons whatsoever.

In witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the day 
and year above written.
