Know all men by these presents that I Benjamin King of the County & 
State aforesaid do bargain & sell and by these presents do bargain & 
sell for the consideration and sum of two thousand dollars good and 
faithful money the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, four negroes 
to wit, Jenny, Elzen, Frances & Hampton which negroes I warrant and 
forever defend unto T. D. King from me or my heirs or the rights of any 
other person or persons whatsoever.
