Morgan County}  This indenture made this first day of January eighteen 
hundred & twenty one between Tandy D. King of the county and state 
aforesaid of the one part & Elizabeth King and her four children (viz) 
Henry, Elizabeth, Mary and Clinton of the county and state aforesaid of 
the other part.  Witneseth that I the said Tandy D. King for the 
consideration and sum of six thousand dollars to me in hand paid by the 
said Elizabeth King and her four children, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary and 
Clinton at or before the signing of their presents to receipt whereof 
is hereby acknowledged do for myself bargain & sell release and convey 
unto the said Elizabeth King and her four children Henry, Elizabeth, 
Mary and Clinton of the county of Morgan and State of Georgia a certain 
tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and ninety acres be the 
same more of lefs lying and being in the County of Morgan and State 
aforesaid on the waters of Sugar Creek being part of Lot No. two 
hundred and ninety nine having such forms and shapes as is hereafter 
represented in a ____ of the same.  Beginning at a ____ oak corner of 
Boons and Jourdans ____ thence along Boons line west to a post oak 
corner, thence south along Thomas Robertsons line to a stake corner 
thence east along Ewing Morrows line to the Eatonton Road thence down 
said road and Jordans line to the crofs roads – thence up Parkers Ferry 
Road & vardamaus line, west to the ____ thence down the Greensboro Road 
North East of vardamaus line to a stake corner which is vardamaus 
corner, thence east along Vardamaus & Clarks line to a pine thence N 
East down Jourdans line beginning corner.  

I Tandy D. King do for myself, my heirs and afsigns bargain and sell 
said lot or tract of land to the said Elizabeth King & her four 
children Henry, Elizabeth, Mary & Clinton with all the ____, houses, 
out houses, gardens and appertenances, remainders ifsues and rents & so 
for the to his own proper use forever.  I Tandy D. King do for myself 
warrant & defend the said lot of land from all and my heirs and every 
other person or persons whomever to the said Elizabeth King and her 
four children Henry, Elizabeth, Mary and Elizabeth Clinton her heirs 
and afsigns for ever!  In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand 
and seal this day and date first above written in presence of

Morgan County}  Personally appeared before me william Simmons and being 
duly sworn deposeth and saith that he saw Tandy D. King afsign and 
acknowledge the written deed for the purposes within & Jeremiah Davis 
afsigns his name as a witnefs to the same with himself.  Sworn to & 
subscribed before me this 14th of July 1821.
