Harper Johnson Clhjohnson@aol.com Deed Book A Georgia Morgan County, This indenture made and entered into this the second day of January in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and Twenty Eight between James Tolison Finnie of the County and State aforesaid of the one part and T. D. King of the County of Fayette & State aforesaid of the other part. Witnefseth that I, T. D. King being legally appointed by the Court of Ordinary of Fayette County, Guardian for the Orphans of Benajah King deceased and agreeable to ____ order from the said Court have advertised and sold according to Law and sold the Lot or Tract of Land whereon Benajah King deceased being apart of the Real Estate of the said him of the said King was sold at Publick sale on the first day of January 1828 and Tolison Finnie being the highest bider. Now I the said Guardian for the above orphans do for and in consideration of the sum of One Thousand Dollars to me in hand paid by the said Finnie at or before the signing and delivering of this present do bargain and sell and now by these presents do bargain and sell to the said Tolison Finnie all that Tract of Land wherever Benajah King formerly lived containing One Hundred and Ninety acres more or lefs situate lying and being in the County of Morgan and State aforesaid and on the waters of Sugar Creek. Bounded on the South East by the Town Kingston, on the Southerly by Hemphills Land and West and North by James Tolison Finnie Land and Southerly East by by Warran Jordans Land, And of the said T. D. King do for myself, my heirs and afsigns and all and every other person or persons warranty and forever defend the rights of the said tract of land together with all houses improvements and every thing appertaining to the said Tract of Land into Tolison Finnie his heirs and afsigns forever in fee simple Signed the Year and date first above written.
