State of Georgia

This Indenture made the 28 of September in the year of our Lord one thousand 
Eight hundred and Eight in the thirty year of the independence of the United 
States of America between Jane McCartney of the County of Jackson and State 
aforesaid of the one part and Daniel Kelly of the County of Green and State 
aforesaid of the other part.  Witnesseth that the said Jane McCartney for and 
in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to her in hand paid by the 
said Daniel Kelley at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the 
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained & sold released 
and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell release & confirm 
unto the said Daniel Kelly his heirs and assigns a certain tract or square of 
Land containing two hundred two and one half acres No. 236 lying & being in the 
fifteenth District in Baldwin County  bounded by Lot No. 245 & Lot No. 237 and 
Lot No. 215 & by Lot No. 235.  Together with all and singular the rights 
members appurtenances to the said tract of land being belonging or in any wise 
appertaining & the remainder reversions rents Issues and profits thereof & 
every part thereof to have and to hold the said tract of land and all and 
singular the premises and appurtenances thereof whatsoever as aforesaid and 
every part thereof unto the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said 
Daniel Kelly his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Jane McCartney and her 
heirs and assigns and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will 
warrant & forever defend by these presents.  In Witness whereof the said Jane 
McCartney have hereunto set her hand and seal the day & year above written.
