Thomas http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00016.html#0003785 April 13, 2008, 9:43 am Randolph, No. 71, District 17 Written: September 23, 1811 Recorded: April 17, 1812 Deeds Vol 5, Pages 200-201 Jasper County Georgia This Indenture made in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and eleven between Daniel McDaniel of County of Morgan and State aforesaid of the one part and James Grace of the County of Randolph and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that I the said Daniel McDaniel for and in consideration of the Sum of Two hundred and [fifty is struck through] forty five dollars to me in hand paid by the said James Grace have bargained Sold and delivered a certain lot or tract of land lying and being in the County of Randolph in said state when drawn Baldwin County known by No. 71 in the Seventeenth district drawn by Daniel McDaniel of Elbert County and Containing two hundred two and a half acres more or less and I the said Daniel McDaniel as for myself my heirs Executors administrator and assigns and against all other persons whatsoever do warrant and forever defend the Said land unto the said James Grace his heirs Executors & administrators and assigns forever in fee simple In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my seal this [23rd is struck through] twenty third day of September 1811 Signed sealed and delivered Donald McDonald {seal} in presence of us Will ern Geby Jordan (sic) John Cormichael (sic) Georgia Baldwin County Willinby Jordan appeared in person before me and being duly sworn Saith that he saw Donald McDonald Sign seal and deliver the above deed for the Purposes therein Expressed and that John Carmichael did subscribe with said deponent as a Witness to the same Sworn and Subscribed the 15th April 1812 Before M Devereux J.P.
