McIntosh sells land to William Brawner] This indenture made this sixteenth day of July in the year eighteen hundred and forty three between H.C. McIntosh of the said county of the one part and William Brawner of the county aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said H.C. McIntosh--and in consideration of the sum of six hundred and firty dollars to him in hand paid by the said William Brawner the reciept whereof is hereby acknowledged before the signing and delivering of these presents doth bargain sell and convey and--hath granted baragained and sole unto the said William Brawner his heirs and assigned all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the twentieth district of originallly Baldwin now Morgan County known and distinguised by the number one hundred and sixty four being a part of said lot containing one hundred and fifty acres more or less lying on the waters of Hard Labor Creek adjoing John Wise land on east Daniel Jackson on the south and John Brown on the west. Together with all and singular the rights members and appendencies thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the said land and premises unto the said William Brawner his heirs and assigns for ever and said H.C. McIntosh doth--warrant and forever defend the title of the above described tract of land from himself his heirs from the lawful claims or demands of every other person or persons whatsoever unto the said William Brawner his heirs and assigned for ever in testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand and afixed my seal the day and date above mentioned. He married Martha Woodruff December 27, 1840 and sold this parcel of land in preparation to move to Henry County, Georgia.
