Of the County and State aforesaid of the one part and John H. Ponder of the same state and county of the other part. Witnefseth that the said Tho. Carleton for and in consideration of the sum of eighty four dollars to him in hand paid by him the said John H. Ponder the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain, sell & confirm unto him the said John H. Ponder his his heirs and afsigns all that tract or parcel of land being part of lot No. 192 in the twentieth dis. Formerly Baldwin now Morgan County hardlabour watters in the South West part of said lot bounded as follows begining at a post oak stake on the line of said lot and runs N40 E10 chain to B gum corner thence N36 W30 chains 50 links to the line of said lot thence on the line of said lot to to a stake S40 Q17 chains 50 links to the corner of said lot thence to the begining of said survey including forty one acres and nine chains be the same more or lefs together with all and singular the eighty members and appertainances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the same. I the said Tho. Carleton will ever warrant from myself, my heirs unto him the said John H. Ponder, his heirs and afsigns. I will ever warrant from myself my heirs, executors & administrators and afsigns all and every other person or persons whomsoever.
