Furlow Executor of the last Will and testament of Jett T. Skidmore deceased did pass an order for the sale of the Real estate of said deceased herein after described, (legal notice of such applications having been first given in one of the public gazettes of this date, to wit: in the Southern Recorder for four months previous to the granting of the order aforesaid.) And whereas the said Osborn T. Furlow Executor as aforesaid, (having) first given Sixty days notice of said sale, and of the time and place thereof in the public gazette aforesaid, and the door of the Court house in said County did on the first Tuesday of October in the year eighteen hundred and thirty Eight at the place of public auction, under and by Virtue of the order aforesaid, the promised hereinafter mentioned. And whereas the said premises were then and there Knocked off to Seaborn T. Saffold (who was the highest bidder for the same) at and for the sum of Nine hundred Dollars ----- Now this Indenture, made the Second day of October in the year eighteen hundred and thirty eight and in the Sisty-third year of the Independency of the United States of America, between the said Osborn T. Furlow Exc. of the County of Morgan and state aforesaid Executor as aforesaid of the one part and Seaborn T. Saffold of the County of Morgan and State aforesaid, other part. Witnessette: that the said Osborn S. Furlow Executor as foresaid for and in Consideration of the sum Nine hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the Sealing and delivery of these presence - the receipts whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained and sold aliened. conveyed and Confirmed, and by these presents do grant bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said Seaborn T. Saffold and to his heirs and assigns. All that tract or parcel of Land Situated and lying in the County and State aforesaid and waters of hard Labour Creek and Known and distinguished in the plan of the twentieth district of Originally Baldwin now Morgan County by parts of Lots no. 145 one hundred and ninety four and three fourths Acres of said lot, and seventy six acres of Lot No. 146 in said district. Containing in the whole two hundred and Seventy and three fourth acres more or less joining the Lands of brawner S. Hanson & Others ... To have and to hold, the said bargained premises, with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said Premises being belonging, or in any wise appertaining with the remainder unto, issues and/or 1et thereof, to the only proper use, benefit and behalf of him the said Seaborn T. Saffold, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, against all persons Claiming by, from, or under the said Jett T. Skidmore deceased or the said Osborn S. Furlow Executor, as aforesaid, bid against no other person whatsoever, shall and will forever warrant and defend by virtue of these presents. In witness where of, this said Osborn S.
