King of the County of Baldwin of the one part and John Selfridge of the County of Morgan of the other part. Witnefseth that the said George W. King for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, released, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, release, convey and confirm unto the said John Selfridge his heirs and afsigns all that lot of land known & distinguished by number two hundred and thirty four in the fifteenth district formerly Baldwin now Morgan County granted to James I. Howard of the first district Baldwin County. To have and to hold the said lot or parcel of land with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said John Selfridge being being belonging or in will appertaining with the remainder and remainders reversion and reversions unto ifsues and profits thereof to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said John Selfridge his heirs, Executors, administrators and afsigns in fee simple and the said George W. King his heirs, executors and administrators the said bargained lot or parcel of land unto the said John Selfridge his heirs executors, administrators and afsigns against the said George W. King his heirs, executors and administrators and all and every person or persons shall and will warrant and forever define by virtue of these presents. In witnefs whereof the said George W.
