Harper Johnson Clhjohnson@aol.com Morgan County State of Georgia This indenture made the fourteenth day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and five and in the thirtieth year of the Independence of the United States of America Between Mary Wilks of the County of Richmond and state aforesaid on the one part and Benajah King of the said State Richmond County of the other part witnefseth that the said Mary Wilks for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to her in hand well & truly paid by the said Benajah King at or before the sealing and delivery of there presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold released and confirmed and by there presents doth grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said Benajah King his heirs and afsigns all that tract or lot of land containing two hundred two and a half acres drawn by Mary Wilks of the state and county aforesaid situated in the fourth district in Baldwin County bounded North East by lot No. 312, North West by lot No. 298, South West by Lot No. 278 and South East by lot No. 300 in said district surveyed on the fourth day of August 1804 by D. Creswell district surveyor together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said lot or parcel of land being belonging or in any ____ apppertaining. And the remainders reversions lents ifsues and profits thereof and of every part thereof to have and to hold the said lot or parcel of land and all and singular the premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging as aforesaid and every part thereof unto the said Benajah King his heirs and afsigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said Benajah King his heirs and afsigns forever and the said Mary Wilks.
