Additional Comments: John G Walker was the son of John Walker who settled on Sugar Creek, Morgan County on a land lot awarded in teh lortteryof 1805. He moved from MOrgan County to Dallas COunty Albama about 1819 with his sons John G., CMC, William and daughters Martha Perkins and Nancy Jones. His eldest son Jams W walker stayed in Organ OCunty and died there in Madison late in the 1800s. He was a Methodist Minister. John G Walker became a lay Baptist minister and resided in Autauga County Alabama until he removed to Lauderdale COunty Miss about 1840.
