The Georgia Enterprise
     On Monday afternoon of last week, Dr. W. L. HITCHCOCK, who resides in the
suburbs of Madison, in self-defense shot FELIX JACKSON, a negro tenant. Dr. H
did not wish to kill him and aimed his gun at his legs, but the small shot 
penetrated the arteries and he died from secondary hemorrhage on Tuesday night.
The coroner's jury found a verdict in accordance with the above facts.
