Mrs. Hallie Thomas, of Madison is spending the week-end with her aunt, Mrs. J. L. Thomas. Miss Daisy Almand spent the first of the week with the Misses Mitchem. Mr. Will Peek, of Bostwick, was a welcome visitor to our community, Friday evening. Ten of our young people attended the party at Mr. Lester Little's Friday night. We are glad to see Mr. Tap Harlson [or Harison] up again after an attack of lagrippe. Mr. J. L. Thomas went to Madison Saturday on business. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Thomas and our popular teacher, Miss Johnson, attended preaching at Sandy Creek Saturday. Mrs. Peta Herren entertained a few of her friends Monday evening in honor of Misses Daisy Almand and Etta Mitchem. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Thomas entertained at an elegant dining Sunday. Those who enjoyed those good people's hospitality were Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Malcom, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stovall, Misses Maud Johnson and Hallie Thomas.
