CLARKE, Thomasville, GA (17 Feb 2004) Source: Madison, GA "Madisonian," May 29, 1914 32 YEARS, OF SERVICE Mr. J. M. McLeroy in employ of Mr. M. A. Mustjn 32 Years today. Congratulations are in order today, Friday, May 29th, marks the 32nd milestone of Mr. J. M. McLeroy with service of Mr. M. A. Mustin. Mr. McLeroy went with Mr. Mustin May 29th, 1882, and has been continously in his employ every day since. He has seldom been absent from his post of duty either by illness or vacation; has ever been "on the job," eager, for orders, and giving faithful, polite and efficient service. Few men stand higher in the esteem of his fellowmen than "Maryland" McLeroy. Years ago he married Miss Foster Allen apd to them one child was born-Miss Annie, a noble young woman, now Mrs. Robert Kimbrough, of Apalachee. The Madisonian wafts its congratulations to "Mack" and his folks on this anniversary, and to Mr. Mustin, who has been in business in Madison ever since he returned from the Civil war, 49 years ago, last month. Mr. Mustin is still one of Madison's young men, for a man is as young as he feels and a woman as young as she looks. The house of Mustin has ever been noted for honesty, integrity and fair dealing in family groceries. May the proprietor and employee both live many years longer and prosper ever. John R.
