R. GARDNER - Funeral services for E. R. Gardner 71, who died Thursday Night at his residence, 357 Fairburn Rd., S. W. after an illness of several weeks, will be held Saturday 11:00 AM at Trinity Chapel. Burial will be at East View Cemetery. Surviving are three sons, Emmett Gardner, Jr., of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Rogers and Wallace Gardner both of Atlanta; a step son, Clavin (Calvin) Avery, of Syracuse, NY; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Crowley (Corley) and Miss Alma Gardner both of Atlanta; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Zachary of Madison; Mrs. Gene Carraway of Chattanooga, Mrs. Willis Johnson, of Decatur, and Mrs. Robert Curtis of Iowa, and two brothers Charles Gardner of Chattanooga and John Gardner of Atlanta.
