WALKER She Died Friday Evening at her Home Near Town On Friday evening last about 7:00 o'clock occured the death of Mrs. Walker, wife of Dr. T. J. Walker. Though she had been an invalid for many years her death was wholly unexpected, and the news of it was received with much regret by the relatives and friends of the deceased and her family. The funeral services occured from her late home Sunday morning at 10 o'clock conducted by her pastor, Dr. W. F. Quillian. The remains were interred in the family burial ground near by. Miss Emma West was born in the house where she died on August 20, 1845. On March 28, 1872, she was married to Dr. T. J. Walker. The issue was six children who, with the husband,. Survive her. In early life she united with the Methodist Church and was ever a consistent member. She was a sweet tempered, open-hearted woman. She was of the true southern type- hospitable, charitable and lovable. To those bereaved are extended our sympathy. __________________________________________________
