Additional Comments:
Prior to his passing at a very young age sometime before 1880 Turner and 
Matilda Allen raised four children Samuel, Laura, Sophronia and Catherine. In 
1881 Matilda married Henry Walker who himself was a widower. Within a short 
period of time Matilda would again be proclaimed a widow. Of her four children 
only Laura can be accounted for. Before relocating to Atlanta, GA around 1900 
Laura married Mitchel Martin who became the step-father to her four children 
from a previous relationship. No children were born to this union.

Jeff Henderson and Ida Mae Allen were married in Morgan County Georgia in 1899 
and within ten years became the parents of Paul, Florida, Ernest and Georgia 
Henderson. Her parents have not been positively identified but at least one is 
believed to be either Samuel or Laura the eldest of four children including 
Sophronia and Catharine the off-spring of Turner and Matilda Allen.
