This is the fourth day of June one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven. I Thomas Baulding Senr. of the County of Prince Edward being very weak and declining in Body but of Perfect mind and memory, thanks be to God, Therefore calling to mind, the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed once for all men to die do make and ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament, that is to say Principally and first, of all I recommend my soul to God that Gave it, and my body to the Earth to be buried in decent manner at discretion of my Executors, and touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to Bless me in this World I give and dispose of in the following manner. Item I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Baulding one negro man named Bowen (?) and negro child named Betty to him and his Heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath unto my son William Baulding one negro man named Sa--- to him and his Heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Baulding one negro man named Dick and one negro boy named Harry also one S---th Gun to him and his Heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath unto my son Caleb Baulding one negro woman named Hagar (?) and her two children named James an Jacob to him and his Heirs forever. I give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Ester (?) Childress one negro boy named Jack to her and her Heirs forever. I give and bequeath to my Grandson Thomas Peak Baulding one negro girl named Phillis her and her increase to him and heirs truly begotten of his Body forever if the said Thos. Peake Baulding should decease before he comes of age the said negro girl is to be equally divided between my sons Thos. William and Caleb Baulding heirs and her increase forever. Item I give and bequeath unto five daughters to wit Elizabeth, Hanah, Ann, Martha, and Sarah five shillings to each besides what they have got before. Item I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Baulding, daughter Elizabeth Baulding Ten (?) pounds in cash to be raised out of the Bond Bills by the Executors. Item I give and bequeath to my three sons Thomas, William and Caleb Baulding all my Cash Bonds Bills and Back debts and including all my Personal Estate such as a still, beding and furniture and all other necessary that and above mentioned to be Equally divided between the said sons Thos., William and Caleb Baulding. I do hereby constitute make and appoint my three sons Thos., William and Caleb Baulding Executors of this my last Will & Testament.
