I James Myhand, of the County of Morgan and the state aforesaid, being weak in body but of perfect sound mind and memory do think proper to make this my last will and testment in the manner and form, as follows: To Wit: Item 1st - my will desire is that just debts be paid as soon as provision can be made for the same. Item 2nd - I leave to my wife Rosannah one negroe girl called Sue, which negroe my wife Rosannah is to have during her natural life, and after my wife's death, I give her, the said negroe girl Sue and increase to my daughter Sally Dassey, late Sally Myhand, forever. Item 3rd - It is my will and desire that my negroe woman Millie and her three children be sold immediately, either private or publicly, which my executor thinks most advantageous, the money arising from the sale of said negroes, after paying my just debts, be appropriated to the use of what my executor thinks most advantageous in supporting Rosannah, my wife - to purchase a negroe if they think proper, for the use and benefit of my wife, or put the money on interest and give her a good and sufficient support from the money or any other that my executors that will be most practical for my wife during her natural life, Item 4th - It is my will and desire at the death of my wife, Rosannah, that all money and property arising from the sale of said negroes, which has not been disposed of in this my last will to be equally divided among my children not named in said will. I constitute and appoint Alvin Myhand and Charles Mathews, my executors, to this my last will and testment this 6th of April 1819. Gilbert and James Hail subscribing and witnessing to the above instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testment of James Myhand, deceased, and after being sworn saith that they were present and saw the testor sign, seal and deliver the same as his last will and testment and that Wiley Harper was present and signed his name by making his mark as a witness to the same and theybelieve the testor was at the same time in his right mind. Sworn to this, 5h July 1819 Richard M. CONTAINING: 202 1/2 ACRES, GRANTED TO: MYSELF WIDOW of a REVOLUTIONARY SOLDIER on APRIL 23 1828 her signed ROSANNAH X MYHAND mark WITNESS: CASWELL J. ALLEN JOHN J. McNEEL, J.P.
