I, Graves Harriss of Morgan County and State of Georgia, do make, ordain and declare this instrument to be my last will and testament, revoking all former wills made by me. First, all my debts are to be punctually paid and the legacys hereafter bequeathed and to be discharged as soon as conveniency will permit and in the manner directed. 2nd. I give and bequeath to my youngest children, that is, Patsy White Harris, Judith Burford Harris, Sally Ralph Harris, Samuel F. Harris and Charles Caswell Harris to each one of them one feather bed and furniture and to each of them fifty dollars to purchase them a horse and sixteen dollars to each of them to buy them a cow and calf and five dollars to Charles Caswell Harris to purchase him a trunk. 3rd. I give and bequeath to my son, Samuel F. Harris one tract of land lying in the 20th District of Morgan No. 28 on Honey C?_ Creek containing 101 1/4 acres. 4th. I give and bequeath to my son Charles C. Harris one hundred and sixty-eight acres of land, more or less, on the waters of Hard Labor, adjoining Sparks Walker known as the place formerly owned by Tadock Burnett. My reason for giving to my five children is that I have given to my two older children as much when they left me and to my oldest sons, I have given land. 5th. I give and bequeath to my six daughters (names) Polly W. Chandler, Betsy G. Weaver, Susannah B. Morgan, Patsy W. Harris, Judith B. Harris, and Sally R. Harris each of them three hundred dollars apiece, all of the above sums of money to be raised from the sale of my estate to make them all equal. 6th. My will further is that my negroes and my stock of every kind, my household furniture (except the above mentioned featherbeds) my kitchen furniture, my plantation tools, my present crop and the tract of land whereon I now live all be sold on a credit at the discretion of my executors and paying off all the above named legacys, that the remainder be equally divided among my ten children. My will further is that my old negro man, Buck, be tenderly treated the remainder of his time or and on account of his service to the family and lastly, I do nominate and appoint my two sons, Thomas O. Harris and Samuel F. Harris and my son-in-law, Reuben Weaver, executors to this my last will and testament. In witness hereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of October in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and twenty six.
