 1 March 1820: this is to certify that the under written is the last Will & 
testament of Christian Ison & the said Christian Ison nominates his consort 
Margret Ison exs. & Samuel Lorane executor to manage his estate after the 
death of Christian Isan. The above named Ison lends to his consort Margret 
Ison the plantation where he now lives, 5 negroes Jack, Mima, Ned, Dick & Ann 
during her natural life & also stock of horses, cattle, & hogs & the corn, 
meat, &c belonging to the plantation at present & also the plantation tools 
both house & kitchen furniture after the death of Margret Ison the above 
property to be equally divided among Christian Ison's lawful heirs to Frederic 
Ison $4.00, to Jacob Ison a negro boy Charles, to Margret McElroy's offspring 
David & Fan, to John Ison a negro girl Less, to Polly McCannon $4.00, to Nancy 
Ison a feather bed & furniture.                 /s/Esa Isom[?]
