First, I give and bequeath unto my niece Jane Slamfier the wife of Irby Hamper the following Negroes namely to wit. Louis Harris, a man Betsey Martha Frances woman Pamelea Lucritia Delila,June Children to her and to the heirs of her body and also my silver table spoons and to Tabitha Slamfier daughter of Irby and Jane Slamper I give my best bed and such furniture as Jane Slamper may select to accompany said bed and to my niece Sophia Flournoy daughter om dec' brother Francis Flournoy I give two hundred dollars in money to be paid her out of the present crop and to Augustus G. Elam I give one hundred dollars exclusive of the one hundred and eight dollars I shall be due him for his services ending the twenty fifth of December next. And to Alexander Laparde the nephew of my des' husband I give one bed sheet and checked counterpane and bed quilt and to Alexander Snellings and the heirs of William Snellings dec. land and premises on which I live and also to Jane Slanfer I give my household and kitchen furniture together with my stock of all kinds farming utensils corn fodder blacksmith tools surplus property Gin [or Gun] and running geer and to Samuel A. Flounoy the son of my deceased brother Samuel late of Virginia I give my negro man Willis and furthermore to my old Negro man Toby I give his freedom and leave Irby Hamper his guardian and to each of my grown negroes I give ten dollars to be paid with the present crop and to Tabitha Stamper above named I give my slever teaspoons and set of China. Georgia,Morgan County Inferior court sitting for ordinary purposes adjourned December 8,1835. Personally appeared in open court William J M Chisolm who after being duly sworn said that the written insturment in writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Tabitha Snellings was drawn by him in accordance to her direction and when read to her declared to be her last will and testament and she was at the time of sound and disposing mind and memory the same was subscribed and written and acknowledged on the 28th day of October last (1835) sworn and subscribed in open court day and date above written.
