Item 1: I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid as soon after my death as it can conventiently be done. Item 2: I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Dianna Snellings my horse buggy and harness to be hers absolutely in fee simple. Item 3: I give and bequeath to my grandson Wm. Snellings, son of John H. Snellings, one feather bed together with the necessary bed clothing sheets. Item 4: I give and bequeath to my son-in-law James L. Wozencroft all the residue of my estate both real and personal to be held by him in trust for the following uses and purposes to wit, that is to say for the sole and seperate use of my daughter Sarah Wozencroft wife of said James L. for and during her natural life and at her death said property to be equally divided among her children then living--it being my my intention hereby that said property shall at no time be subject to the debts of said James L. Wozencroft or any future husband of my said daughter, but that said property shall be used and enjoyed alone by my daughter and her children. Item 5: I hereby constitute and appoint my son John H. Snellings to be my executor to execute my last will and testament. In whitness whereof I have hereunto set my my hand and seal this 18th day of November in the year of our Lord 1858. Signed sealed published Virginia (X) Snellings and endorsed by Virginia Snellings in the presence of each other and in the presence of the said Virginia Snellings the testatrix. This Nov. 18th, 1858. Jones one ot the subscribing witnesses to the written insturment of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Virginia Snellings who being duly sworn said he saw the testatrix sign seal and deliver and heard her declare it to be her last will and testament and that she done so freely and of her on accord and that he subscried to the same as witness in her presence and the presence of the other witnesses and saw them subscribe their names in her presence and in the presence of each other at her request and that he believes she was of sound mind and memory at the time sworn to and subscribed. She was the widow of Alexander Snellings. Virginia and Alexander removed to Morgan County, Georgia from Chesterfield County, Virginia before 1809.
