TUCKER Funeral services were conducted Sunday, December 28, 1941 for C.B. TUCKER, 69, well-known resident of the parish (Franklin Parish), who succumbed the previous day (December 27, 1941). Burial was in the family cemetery (Ward Cemetery) near Como, with the Rev. Jack Midyett, pastor of the Gilbert charge of the Methodist church, officiating. Among survivors are: His wife, Mrs. Kate Cordill Osborne TUCKER; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Brocato (Marie Emily TUCKER) of Gilbert,LA, Mrs. A.C. Duchesne (Audrey TUCKER) of Baskin,LA and Mrs. Wilma Harris (Wilma Beverly TUCKER) of Baton Rouge,LA; two sons, William Griffin TUCKER, in the U.S. Navy, and John Curtis TUCKER of Baton Rouge,LA; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Minnie TUCKER) Lynch , New Orleans,LA and a brother, Dennis TUCKER of Dunn,LA. Lowry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Cahrles B. Tucker was born February 22, 1872 in Murray County,GA to James K. Polk TUCKER and Emma E.L. Mauldin. He married Katie Cordill Osborne on February 14, 1900 in Franklin Parish,LA.
