Frederick Monroe MILLER [photo]

Frederick Monroe MILLER was born in Columbus, Georgia, September 22, 1902.  He
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T[homas] Z[ephaniah] MILLER of Muscogee County,
Georgia.  His father and mother are deceased.  Fred has two brothers, Walter
L[and] and Jesse L[okey] MILLER and two sisters, Viola K[atherine] MILLER and
[Angie Mae] Mrs. Earle TAYLOR.  [Brother John Thomas MILLER, Sr. d. 28 OCT 1931.]

He received his early education in the Public Schools of Columbus and later took
a Pre-Medical Course at the Alabama Polytechnic Institute at Auburn, Alabama. 
He graduated with a D.D.S. Degree from the Atlanta Southern Dental College and
soon thereafter started the practice of Dentistry in Columbus, Georgia.  This
was in 1925 and today he enjoys the enviable reputation of being one of the
better dentists in this city. 

Dr. MILLER was married to Miss Naomi WELCH on June 21, 1936 in Pelham, Georgia.
 To this union was born one son [living 2006].

About three years after beginning his practice, Dr. MILLER was elected President
of the Fourth District Dental Association.  His success in his chosen profession
is attested by the enormous practice he has continually enjoyed.  His courteous,
considerate attitude, friendly disposition and attractive personality have
endeared him to all his patients and friends.  His conscientiousness and the
excellent quality of his work have earned him the trust of his patients and the
admiration of his fellow dentists.

He was elected to honorable fellowship in the Georgia Dental Association.  He is
a member of the Masonic Lodge and Al Oula Shrine.  His civic and social
interests include membership in the Rotary Club, the Columbus Country Club,
Delta Sigma Delta and Omnicron Kappa Upsilon Fraternities.  He is a devout
christian, being a member of the Baptist Church.  Dr. Frederick MILLER is
liberal to generosity and his kind deeds are numbered only by his opportunities.
