I tried to enlarge the copy I made and it is still very blurred. Also his handwriting is not so good.It is hard to tell his twos from his threes, so therefore the columns don't add up. The page #s 285-286-287-288 are all missing. page 290a Line 1, in totals column 11/12, apparently this is where he corrected himself. page 292a, the column down, slaves, male, age 10 and under is so faded out I can't read all the numbers. page 292a,line 5 ,7/8, he apparently corrected himself. page 293a,line 6, the name Jipson/Jepson, the name is listed as Jepson in the book"Columbus Ga.List of Names, 1828-1852", Line 9, the census index list this name as Lassiter, I cannot be for sure. Line 11, Ar. may stand for Archibald or Andrew. Line 12, this may be Snow, compare to line 20. page 294a,line 11, the census index list this name as Rosser, it is clearly Roper. In the book"Columbus Ga, List of Names 1828-1852" , there is a Wiley G.Roper listed. Also it is very hard to tell the difference between this mans "S" s and "L"s. Page 295a,line 8, In the census index this name is spelled Fulgham, C.B.Fulgham, In the book, Columbus Ga List of Names 1828-1852, there is listed C.B.Fulguin. line9, the name in the census index is spelled B.F. Sergneir, in the aforemention book, there is listed a Page 296a,line 25, Flora, that is all that was written. line 30, Marshall T.***,the rest was unreadable Line 31, Wainwright Em***, the rest was unreadable Page 298a,line 18, could this be Seers instead of Sears? Page 303, a lot of the numbers are faded out, so the totals don't add up. Page 307,line 18, this name could be Garut,Ganus???? Page 307a,line 21, I believe Val is short for Valentine Page 308,line 7,this is apparently where he corrected himself.,8/9 Page 312a, Column AQ , is not legible Lines 12/13, this names may be Jr.and Sr. Line 14, I make this out to be Lion., may be Lional. page 316, column BC, there are a lot of corrections in that column. Page 317,line 23, when I tried to put the number nine in column BC line 23, it will not accept it, it gives me a date or 1/9. the number should be 9. page 319,line 12,column BC, this is coming up 1/9 as a date, the number is 9. Page 325, there are a lot of corrections in column BC page 325a,line 15, could this Hars. stand for Harris? Line 17 Jourdan William***, Williamson?? There are columns of numbers that don't add up. This copy is of poor quality and the numbers can't always be read correctly. page 292a,line 15, States Lewis. In the book , Columbus Ga,List of names,1828-1852, there is a States Lewis listed. The name is unusual so I wanted to make sure, From the census it looked like that name The page number 318 is missing. The page number 322 is missing. The page numbers 326 and 327 are missing. As I have stated before, a lot of the numbers are faded out and cannot be read correctly, therefore a lot of the totals do not match up. But hopefully the name will be of some help to searchers.
